Bipolar Disorder is the name used to describe a set of conditions where the individual experiences mood swings between two opposite poles. Bipolar Disorder used to be known as 'manic depression'. The highs of Bipolar Disorder are called mania or hypomania. The lows are called depression. Occasionally people can experience a mixture of both highs and lows at the same time giving a mixed picture (also called mixed state) With the right treatment, most people with Bipolar Disorder are able, to varying extents, to live normal and productive lives.

Australian Mist Kitten

I am currently thinking about getting a kitten. This little 2 week old will be up for adoption when he's 12 weeks old. He is an Australian Mist - apparently a good cat for indoors.

The other picture is his dad (Lord Purino Curtis) - gives you a better idea of what he'll look like when he grows up.

M said...: We have two Australian Mists. They do make good inside cats, although we let ours outside.

They have to be the most people-friendly cats we have ever owned -although I'd be careful if you have a baby or are visited by one often because they would definitely be a candidate for sleeping on its head!; 6 October 2007 at 6:26 pm
